DUTIES
New Business Research
• Researching potential new contacts and background company information. • Assessing new business and OJEU opportunities and preparing summaries for presentation to the Marketing & PR Manager.
Submission Documents
• Compiling and developing submission responses, PQQs and competition administrative documents. • Liaising with other, third party members of the submission team. • Drafting of submission and competition texts. • Managing all relevant site visits. • Co-ordinating the production of submission documents within the necessary timescale. • Assisting the Graphics Team with the production of submission documents. • Liaising with the New Business Associate where necessary. • Ensuring that submissions are issued and received before the due date.
Other New Business Material
• Reviewing and updating all other new business material, eg the Practice Profile and the IMS text library. • Writing any new text required and ensuring that it is signed off at Manager/Director level where appropriate. • Liaison with Graphics Team in the preparation of new business material.
General • Reporting to the Marketing & PR Manager on a daily basis. • Maintaining and regularly updating the New Business agendas and summaries. • Ensuring all filing is done accurately and in a timely manner. • Carrying out any other relevant tasks requested by either the Business Development & Marketing Manager or Directors. • Supervision of the Marketing Assistant when he/she is working on New Bid activities. • Occasional cover for reception duties when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in construction, architecture or the arts, and a relevant qualification with two years similar experience.
• The ability to undertake a range of tasks, prioritising where necessary to achieve stated deadlines. • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign. • Strong technical writing skills. • Good organisational and project management skills. • An eye for details and be meticulous in proof-reading. • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. • Good knowledge of French and/or German would be desirable

Salary & Benefits:
